About the Library

The Woburn Public Library is located in Woburn, MA, approximately 12 miles north of Boston.  It is a bustling library in a community rich with history.

Built in 1879 the Woburn Public Library was the first library designed by acclaimed architect H.H. Richardson. Join us as we work to renovate and expand our community icon and bring it into the 21st century

The Library is a a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
